Grunty’s Day Care Nursery is part of the Partington Family and an award-winning Nursery providing a high-quality service, child centred approach, working to meet the needs of all children and their family. **Job role information**:
**Role**:Room Leader

**Location**:Grunty's Day Care Nursery

**Hours of Work: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.**

**Salary**:£10.55 per hour - Accommodation included in rate (Accommodation will be on site)

**Live out rate**:£12.12 per hour - No accommodation provided

**Overview**

You will support the nursery management team ensuring that the nursery is well maintained on a day to day basis and in accordance with park procedures and guidelines

**Skills, experience and qualities you will need**:

- To effectively deliver and work within the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children in the setting are met
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and families, and relevant external professionals
- To act as a key person having responsibility for key children and ensure their developmental needs are met and accurately recorded, care routines are carried out and working in partnership with parents.
- To maintain a child centred environment, which is inclusive for all and recognises and encourages diversity, by reviewing displays, resources and room layout with the team, and assist with the planning and delivery of a wide range of activities to meet children’s needs
- To use observation and reflective practice to contribute to planning and evaluation in the setting
- To maintain children’s safety and wellbeing at all times during attendance at the setting and take any action required, reporting any concerns immediately to the Manager
- To attend staff meetings, supervision and appraisals and relevant identified training
- To keep records as required
- To contribute to any quality assurance programmes

**Important Information**
- Applicants must have a recognised and appropriate Level 3 Early Years Qualification and experience in an early years setting.
