Following the recent implementation of the Cerner EPR solution, the Trust is supporting a growing number of EPR users (5000+) in using the new system and implementing new ways of working/recording data.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands hospital IT systems to come on board and join the team.

This is a rewarding support role which involved learning about how the system is used and providing resolution and fixes to end users experiencing issues.

**Key tasks include**:
Supporting users via the IT Service Desk.

Raising calls with third party suppliers.

Maintaining the system configuration including staff, locations, wards/bed, request lists etc

Providing data quality advice.

Good IT skills and attention to detail are a must as well as a good understanding of NHS processes and patient systems.

There has never been a more exciting time to join West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Major redevelopment works are due for completion by 2025 or soon after. These will be most dramatic at Watford General Hospital where up to 90% of buildings will be new.
