We are currently recruiting a Logistics & Supply Chain Team Lead for our client south of Aberdeen.

Work with all departments to provide a quality Stores Service to internal and external customers\vendors for the purchase of products and services, ensuring where possible, on time delivery to customers is achieved. Ensure stock levels are maintained and rotated and provide support in the way of supplies to Workshop. Raise all purchase orders for the business. Ensures compliance of customs regimes including (but not limited to) IPR, RGR and FCG and manages the import\export process.

Job description
- Raise Purchase Order Requisitions in accordance to internal process to be approved by Management for all business units. Issue Purchase Order to supplier once available and organize all paperwork to ensure compliance for auditing purposes.
- Ensure that official acknowledgements are received for all high value/critical direct spend orders.
- Communicate progress of purchase orders to owner. Managing the OTD with supplier and communicating KPI information to QHSE department.
- Work with Workshop Manager to proactively plan for annual stock take and play key role in carrying out the count, and any year audits as and when required.
- Work with Sales and Service Team leads to ensure successful import/export process is created\maintained in accordance with current regulations.
- Manage all import/exports, in accordance with relevant customs regime, ensuring compliance of process and constantly reviewing required amendments. Maintain relationship with customs agent and nominated customs broker.
- Freight coordination of shipments ensuring freight forwarder is compliance approved and best price is attained.
- Preparation of export documentation and shipping paperwork. Returning all signed documentation to sales/service department upon departure of goods.
- Submit 1 safety hazard per month and complete 1 Workplace Inspection every second month or when requested by QSHE Manager.
- Set personal goals in workday annually and work to achieve these.
- Management of supplier Database.

**Desired Qualities / Qualifications**:
Experience in similar role required.

Experience with customs regimes required.

Experience of using MRP systems & MS packages Word and Excel required.

Experience working in or alongside a stores department desirable.

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and organisational ability.

Enthusiastic, proactive and flexible approach to work.

Driven and self-starter who can work on own initiative without constant supervision.

Ensure all work undertaken is of a high quality, to agreed targets and timescales.

Ability to manage time and prioritise workload.

Effective team player.
