SimpsInns Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader for the maintenance and grounds department, looking after the SimpsInns Estate.

**The Individual**

We are looking for an individual who:
Has an all round, comprehensive maintenance knowledge and skillset (joinery, basic electrical, plumbing, decorating, painting, decorating)

Can motivate and train a team to ensure our high standards are upheld

Is willing and able to get involved in tasks

Has management experience in a similar role (Hotels / Resorts / Restaurants)

Is reliable, works well under pressure and adapts to the ever-changing requirements the job entails

Can communicate effectively both verbally and written

Has a full, clean driver’s license

**Performance**

This role is a hands-on operational role.

The Maintenance Team Leader is performance is monitored on:
The successful management and implementation of the maintenance tasks across all properties (preventative / reactive / project)

The successful management of the maintenance and gardening team

The successful management of maintenance equipment

Adhering to financial budgets

Adhering to health and safety regulations

The resort and property presentation

Guest and owner satisfaction

**Responsibilities**

Assigning tasks to the maintenance team

Ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard - leading by example

Prioritising tasks and adjusting workflow where and when required

Recruiting, developing and supporting the maintenance team

Liaising with Head gardener to ensure grounds are kept to a high standard

Managing maintenance rota

Liaising with Contractors when required

Looking after the maintenance inventory and company vehicle fleet

**Reporting**

The Maintenance Team Leader liaises with venue managers on a daily basis and reports to Senior Management weekly.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00 per year
