Export Import Executive

We are looking for someone to join our small friendly team that has expertise in Imports and Exports, a good knowledge of importing from China and exporting of goods to international markets. The ability to use your skills to develop new processes, implement tools, and automate procedures. Ensuring all international shipments are managed in an effective and timely fashion. Imperative to have in depth knowledge of all customs clearances procedures and documentation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Dealing with network and customer queries
- Ensuring all freight documentation is received on time and is correct
- Handling of UK and International invoices
- Maintaining communication and control through all phases of the order
- Maintaining current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situations and other factors that could affect the movement for freight internationally
- Set-up processes and capabilities for Import and Export to ensure a smooth transition from date of purchase to delivery.
- Responsible for maintaining all Operational Process Documents and administration.
- Proactively resolve common challenges (Across BUS & Countries) to improve service impacts
- Identify and build a continuous Improvement plan
- Manage escalation processes and be the point of contact for operational issues, service and cost performance
- Design and implement a project to drastically reduce all manual-inconsistent tasks to facilitate exports and imports

- Experience of logistics processes including warehousing, transportation, and distribution

- Able to contribute to the strategic priorities to help grow a successful global operation

**Qualifications**:
**Core**.
- IT Literate including Microsoft, word, excel and outlook.
- Written, oral English and Mathematics to GCSE standard
- Awareness of Relevant Legislation

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
