High Wycombe, United Kingdom MacIntyre Full time

**Is your career in care as rewarding as it could be? **Have you considered a career in education? No experience necessary, we will train you.**

**With an increase in students registered for the new term, we are creating a number of new roles to join our education team.**

As a Community Teaching Assistant, you won't be confined to a classroom. You'll teach some amazing people, aged between 16 and 25 whose learning difficulties or autism mean that mainstream education won't always meet their needs. Using a tailored curriculum, we teach what is important for the individual: key life skills and appropriate lessons in literacy, numeracy and ICT.

You'll be based in the High Wycombe and Flackwell Heath area, working **39 weeks** a year **either full-time (Mon - Fri) or part-time (four days a week) 9.00 am to 4.36 pm**.

Every day is different but one thing is the same: the achievement you will feel as you watch young people blossom into adulthood.

**About you**

Experience is not essential. If you share our values, are warm, friendly and willing to learn, youre likely to be a great fit. Were looking for people who celebrate differences, and we strive to make all our staff feel included, valued and respected.

You'll need GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English, and good ICT skills.

**You must be a driver with your own transport, **willing and able to travel across the area. Reasonable mileage is reimbursed.

**"Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorships as we await further guidance from the Home Office. Applications requiring sponsorship cannot be considered at this time. We appreciate your understanding."**

**#IND1**

**Training and Development**

At Macintyre we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.

But it doesn't stop there - throughout your career with us you will have access to our own dedicated in house Learning and Development team, Quality Specialists and HR Teams. These teams, along with your Manager, will provide you with opportunities to learn and develop professionally as well as enabling and supporting you to achieve professional qualifications and career progression opportunities - all free of charge.

**About us**

- 5.6 weeks' annual leave including statutory public holidays
- Workplace Pension scheme MacIntyre will contribute 3% of your salary to all eligible employees
- MacIntyre Staff Savings Scheme
- Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) to support your health and wellbeing
