Paramedic

**About the Role**:
GP Healthcare Alliance is a federation of 18 GP practices in Castle Point and Rochford. We are working in partnership with the local primary care networks to support the delivery of the NHS England, Direct Enhanced Service (DES) contract.

We are looking to recruit a PCN paramedic to work alongside member practices within Rochford District Primary Care Network (PCN).

**Working Pattern**: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

**Days/Times**: Monday - Friday

This post-holder will be a core member of the multidisciplinary team, working alongside other professionals, including clinical pharmacists, a pharmacy technician, physician associates, mental health practitioners, etc.

This role will focus on acutely unwell patients, who may not require a hospital admission given prompt assessment and treatment at home.

This post will cover all of the practices of Rochford District Primary Care Network:

- Ashingdon Medical Centre
- The Practice Leecon Way
- The Puzey Family Practice
- Wakering Medical Centre

All flexible offers and working arrangements will be considered.

The appropriate individual will:

- be a qualified paramedic with experience in an acute response/emergency setting.
- have current GPhC registration
- be confident to triage, take comprehensive history, examine, diagnose and treat or refer for a range of minor injuries/illnesses/infections as required.

Working knowledge of SystmOne would be advantageous, as would experience of ordering and interpreting tests on ICE.

GP Healthcare Alliance is a company, originally formed as a GP federation, made up of 18 practices who work together to provide healthcare for our practices and patients, in Castle Point, Rochford and Rayleigh, Essex. All practice members remain independent contractors, but work collaboratively to improve healthcare services within our area.
