**Shift Pattern**: Monday
- Sunday (5 days out of 7) Full time

**Pay**: £11.45, plus enhanced pay for weekends and bank holidays

We have temporary 12 week placement opportunities available for stores assistants with the catering team to work within East & North Hertfordshire Trust, Lister Hospital, Coreys Mill Lane, Stevenage SG1 4AB

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Responsible for the receipt, storage, rotation and issue of all food and stock items used within the Catering Department.
- Undertake clerical duties connected with the post and maintain accurate records of stock levels and movements.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations and delivery dates for goods as required in conjunction with the Head Chef, roster and control the kitchen portering staff.
- You will be involved in the operation of a computerised stock control system and will be required to work closely with the catering management team.
- Fill and maintain the cold beverage vending machines
- The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above._

- Excellent communication skills

- Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Physically fit
- Good warehouse/stores knowledge
