The Chief Risk Office function has Group-wide responsibility for the management and control of all credit, market, operational, enterprise and liquidity risks and has the responsibility of continual development of methods for risk measurement, frameworks and creating a bank wide strong risk culture. You will work for a leading global Investment Bank and one of the top global universal banks. This is a diversified role, you will have exposure to multiple business lines, including Investment and Commercial Bank and other divisions within the Bank.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Performing deep-dive analysis (current versus future state) on upstream changes that impact both legacy and strategic feeds into Market Risk Systems, and coordinating and participating in testing
- Communicate identified requirements clearly and concisely with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring requirements are tracked, delivered as agreed, tested, and signed off
- Support investigation and root cause analysis into risk feeds/MRAC processes/System IT issues, as well as identify potential areas for improvement (for both legacy and strategic infrastructure), escalating through appropriate channels when required
- Learn to use the Bank’s internal analytics library (DBAnalytics) and Market Risk System flows end to end. Help to support, grow, and proliferate that knowledge across members of the team

**Your skills and experience**
- Broad financial products and valuation knowledge gained within a financial services organisation, ideally covering one or more asset classes such as Fixed Income or Credit
- Familiar with the upcoming changes off the back of the IBOR reform leading to a rise in a variety of new benchmark rates
- Good understanding behind the methodology behind market risk measures, such as Value at Risk (VaR) (HistSim Sensi & Full Revaluation), Incremental Risk Charge (IRC), Economic Capital (EC), Stress Testing, and Greeks
- Strong quantitative skills, detail-focused, with ability to perform thorough analysis on large data sets, draw conclusions and summarise observations to present clearly and succinctly
