The Payroll Advisor will have responsibility for the preparation, vetting, control and payment of over 1000 employees' salaries across a number of payrolls.

**Client Details**

Our client is seeking a 12 month FTC Payroll Advisor to join their busy Finance function. The position will be based in their Head Office in Bristol with a 50/50 split between the office and home working.

**Description**

Payroll Advisor Key Accountabilities;
- Processing monthly end to end payroll.
- Check, control and maintain amendments to employee pay and IME (International Mobile Employees).
- Calculate and prepare international salary, tax and pension payments.
- Reconcile and provide returns and associated payments to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintenance of specific controls and control documentation for line management.
- Support employees with payroll related queries.
- Ability to deal with high volume queries across all levels in the company, demonstrating great customer care at all times.
- Carry out ad hoc requests as required in an accurate and timely manner.
- Liaise with our third party payroll provider.

**Profile**

**Skills and Experience**

**Essential**:

- Previous experience of managing large payrolls with differing levels of complexity.
- Knowledge of Tax & NI rules for UK & IMEs (International mobile employees).
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work quickly & accurately under pressures to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both within the organisation and externally.
- Adaptable and able to quickly react to changing priorities.
- Formal qualification preferable but more important is the ability to understand how to calculate pay.
- Great organisational skills - prioritising your workload and working independently, whilst also being a brilliant team player.

**Desirable**:

- Experience working with managed payroll provider.
- Payroll for overseas employees.
- Experience within HR.
- General ledger reconciliation experience.
