HR Project Coordinator

Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust (RCHT) are embarking on an exciting, leading edge HR System Transformation Programme. Through the re-engineering and maximisation of HR System functionality, RCHT have an ambitious two-year programme planned to transform HR Services and the Corporate experience by unlocking the full capability of our HR systems, and to make best use of these digital platforms. This will improve the HR service user experience and will enhance the quality and accuracy of management information reports generated from HR related systems.
Working as a key part of the Programme Team, the post holder will work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver the transformation of HR Systems, including the coordinating the re-configuration and data cleanse of ESR. The post holder will also contribute to the review of existing HR processes and identify opportunities for efficiencies through system functionality.
Sustainability is integral to the Trust achieving the NHS Net Zero target. All staff are therefore actively encouraged and supported to implement new ways of working within their field of expertise.
A key member of the HR Systems Transformation Programme and Programme Board. Working with HR Project Lead to steer through HR Projects that are within scope of the Transformation Programme, steering project activity and presenting on progress and outcomes to Programme Board.
Leading the Programme workstream on ESR configuration and data cleansing, managing a team of ESR Assistants to deliver on 1:1 configuration.
Updating Programme Board on progress of ESR configuration in readiness for updates and implementation of new ESR functionality.
Supporting Programme Manager and HR Project Lead in planning project activity, updating on progress, identifying risks and mitigating actions and making recommendations to the Programme Board for decision making.
Responsible for 3 x ESR Assistants (6 months fixed term posts), and overall co-ordination of their workload to reconfigure ESR to 1:1 configuration.
Writing and agreeing standard operation processes in relation to the process of reconfiguration and data cleansing, ready for handover to the BAU team once this work is completed.
Weekly reports to the Programme Board against targets set re 1:1 positioning, identification of any slippage against plan.
As SME, providing input into the integration of HR systems, with ESR as the core data set for workforce. Identifying options for efficiencies gained through integration.
The post holder will assist with the monitoring and management of project budgets.
The post holder will undertake research where necessary, to gain further information and expertise for their project.
Effective communication and involvement with a range of stakeholders
Developed communication skills in order to explain complex information to staff across the Trust including to Programme Board
Develop productive working relationships with colleagues and stake holders
Develop own personal networks
Delivery and presentation of reports to time and to a high standard
