Our Public Sector client has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Admissions Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. As the Admissions Manager you will lead on admissions for non-standard admissions. This includes PGR, Distance learning, Partnerships and Pathway providers. This necessitates a customer-focused and business to business informed approach to managing admissions,with uneven peaks and troughs during each academic cycle. You will lead admissions staff in providing a very high level of customer service for the applicants, their agents, and the Partnership and Pathway Providers. You will have a continuous improvement,customer focused mindset
You will support the creation of a culture of continual improvement, leading on cross-team projects to develop and implement a best-in-class applicant experience, which encompasses all aspects of Admissions, including policy, compliance, processes, systems,applicant facing engagements and conversion interactions
**Responsibilities Include**:

- To lead on admissions for University Partnerships and Pathway providers
- To manage team workload and resourcing to ensure delivery of partner SLAs.
- To provide an expert assessment of new proposed partnerships and pathways, and options to
- facilitate them while ensuring we meet our recruitment and admissions priorities.
- matriculation for all applicants
- To implement and manage the Admissions Policies and Procedures ensuring that they comply with legislative requirements and best practice within the HE sector
- To ensure frameworks are in place to facilitate a best-in-class applicant experience, keeping
- abreast of government, sectoral and institutional changes which may impact ways of working
- To support the Head of Admissions and Applicant Experience in defining processes and activities which maximise our potential to meet student number targets
- To support management and communication of the centralised Admissions process operating
- across all academic Schools.
- To support the Head of Admissions and Applicant Experience in ensuring that all policies are
- updated in line with legislative and/or institutional changes
- To keep abreast of changes in the external and competitive environment, and develop
- innovative responses
- To have a strong awareness of institutional policy and KPIs and ensure that both are
- considered and implemented throughout all Admissions projects and systems
- To monitor, measure, review and report on areas of potential risk relating to admissions
- To work closely and collaboratively with the three other Admissions Managers as well as
- Senior Admissions Officers across departments to ensure excellence and consistency across all elements of the applicant journey

**Skills/Experience Required**:

- Previous experience in Admissions Management
- Degree level qualification, and/or considerable Admissions experience at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Knowledge of the admissions/recruitment cycle in Higher Education and issues and challenges relating to student recruitment.
- Experience in managing resource across a range of diverse applicant groups
- in line with institutional priorities
- A flexible approach to designing process with an in-built capacity to adapt quickly to external and internal change
- An understanding of the legislative and compliance parameters that govern HE Admissions
- Proven experience of successful management and development of a team of skilled professionals to deliver high standards of performance
- Ability to work autonomously, plan projects, juggle multiple priorities and
- meet deadlines
