As we look to expand our reach and impact, we are seeking a dynamic and passionate Community Engagement Promoter to join our team.

**Role Overview**:
As a Community Engagement Promoter, you will be instrumental in helping us grow our fostering community. You will design, organise, and host weekly information events aimed at attracting new foster families and promoting the values and success stories of Wholistic Fostering. This part-time, weekend role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of our engagement efforts, with the potential for role expansion over time.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and execute weekly information events to educate and engage potential foster parents.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders and organisations to increase awareness and support for fostering.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to create compelling promotional materials.
- Provide ongoing feedback to our team on community needs and opportunities for growth.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in community engagement, event planning, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to diverse ethnic groups, especially African and Caribbean communities.
- Passion for child welfare and a commitment to the mission of Wholistic Fostering.
