The context

An opportunity to join a leading international insurance business that is part of a wider, major global (re)insurance group.

Innovative IT underpins the services that support both internal and external stakeholders.The growth of the IT estate and progressive plans for the future necessitates the addition of an experienced Business Change Manager to join the team in London.

The role objective will be to support the overall IT transformations in a way that ensures a positive outcome for employees, the business as a whole and for external clients and 3rd parties.

Overview of responsibilities
- Reporting to the (COO), and liaising closely with all Project Manager(s) and Work Stream Leads assigned to the Network Integration initiative.
- The job holder will be responsible for managing business change deliverables associated with each of the workstreams that comprise the project.
- To assimilate how these deliverables will impact every employee and the way it conducts its business operation.
- Support the Communication workstream in its contact with external clients and third parties and evaluate the associated impacts.
- Identify the Change Management actions necessary to support the clients in the way they engage with the business
- Devising a Change program that maximises positive outcomes and supports the business, external clients and 3rd parties throughout the transformation.
- Conducting assessments for change readiness and evolving change management plans in response - This could include identifying key stakeholders and suitable communication channels, identifying and managing anticipated resistance and taking advantage of changechampions and change networks
- Supporting the design and delivery of training programs to embed new ways of working, processes, and initiatives
- Re-engineering processes in IT and business operations where necessary
- Supporting the project to ensure proficient adoption of changes with minimum or zero disruption.
- Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics
- Integrate change management activities into the project plan

Key Skills and Experience
- A solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process
- Demonstrable experience of owning the Business Change Management of a significant technology transformation.
- Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Exposure to Project Management
- Insurance knowledge preferable
