We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join us, working on the Ministry of Justice, Education Training and Employment contract. You will lead and coach a team of Advisors who deliver face to face support, from probation service offices across Cheshire and Merseyside.
**You will also work from and be responsible for the Maximus ETE Liverpool office. This role will require travel across the North West region.**

Salary range:
Non-London £28,800 to £30,900

Essential Job Duties:

- To line manage a team of Advisors who work across Merseyside and Cheshire
- To complete monthly 1-1’s and caseload reviews
- To complete Quality and Compliance checks, including file checks and observations
- To conduct weekly team meetings and regular training, development and best practice sessions
- To build relationships with Probation Service staff, attending team meetings and promoting the service
- To produce monthly management reports
- To be responsible for the day to day running of the Liverpool office and staffing
- To ensure delivery requirements for all sites are met and manage Service Levels and Quality Measures
- To be responsible for budget decisions
- To be the safeguarding lead for the contract

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Management or staff development experience in a people facing delivery environment, with the ability to coach and develop individuals
- Skills and knowledge in supporting people into employment or training opportunities, with awareness of issues relating to supporting ex-offenders into employment or training
- Confident and competent in networking and building relationships
- Customer focused with a track record in the delivery of high quality services
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Performance and outcome orientated
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Resilience and solution focused
- Awareness of safeguarding and ability to work within Probation Service risk management procedures
- Work in a flexible and autonomous manner; being visionary, promoting improvements and sharing best practice that supports business efficiency
