The Royal Free London has a vacancy in our Digital Training Team, band 6 The post holder will training and support a variety of nurse and clinical roles as well as clerical end user training.

Delivering quality training, education and development of Digital training systems (primarily electronic patient records - EPR) to all Trust staff.

To work with the Digital Training Lead, Chief Change Lead and Nursing Information Officers to implement local and national digital education and development strategies

To contribute to the development of a positive learning environment for all Trust staff using EPR

To facilitate the training and development in the use of EPR and other digital systems

To keep knowledge and learning up to date

To develop education in accordance with trust standards/policies, statutory requirements and national guidelines

To operate within the boundaries of the role and assessed competencies

The post holder has the opportunity to develop within the role and undertake further training and development as required.

To contribute to the trust digital training programme for all staff including onboarding, organising and facilitating sessions, and developing those who are enrolled on the programmes

To act as an education expert for new staff

To contribute to the development, facilitation and evaluation of Trust digital teaching sessions, study days and programmes under the supervision of the Digital Training Lead and senior members of the Clinical Digitisation team

To keep up to date with the national, regional and local education agenda affecting clinical digitisation

Offer educational support and advice to all staff and their mentors/line managers to help them develop and acquire the relevant digital skills and competencies for their role

To promote trust digital educational offerings to current and prospective staff and their line managers

To ensure that learners and their supporting managers are aware of the compliance criteria for digital educational activities, intended outcomes and assessment methods involved

To support qualified and non-qualified staff undertaking the digital training modules and improving adoption in practice

To support and facilitate digital training update and train the trainer sessions for trust staff

Provide good quality feedback to learners based on educational assessment
