Yard Supervisor

We are looking for someone to join our team at **Jewson Andover** as a **Yard Supervisor**. We’re a busy and well-established branch with a friendly team who pride themselves on offering a great service and excellent product knowledge. We have a sales office, warehouse, shop & counter, timber supply and customer delivery vehicles. As a **Yard Supervisor** you will play a pivotal role in supporting management by supervising the branch yard team to deliver an excellent customer experience. You will also be expected to make sure your team are fully compliant with best practice Health and Safety processes whilst working towards branch sales and profit targets. From serving our customers to loading vehicles ready for delivery, and from monitoring stock to growing our sales, you’ll be at the heart of our operations.

This role has a strong focus on customer service as well as working outside supervising the yard, so this role is great for someone who loves to build relationships with customers, has strong leadership qualities and enjoys working outdoors. Full workwear and PPE will be supplied for you.

- The ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
- Confident working both indoors and outdoors, with a strong focus on H&S
- Comfortable in a role involving extensive manual handling of bulky items
- Accuracy and attention to detail

A forklift licence would also be an advantage, however it’s not essential as we are happy to organise training for you.

**Hours of Work: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5pm, and every other Saturday from 8am-12pm**
