- ** Your Role **:You will be reporting to the Transport Shift Manager and you will be in charge of the day-to-day execution completion of transport tasks in support of the Domestic Transport Operation. You will also be responsible for the day to day planning and execution of the overland domestic collection and delivery operation. This will require you to deal face to face, over the telephone and through messaging devices with drivers on the road and other departments in the business.
- ** Your Responsibilities**:

- Pre brief and debrief drivers on their daily runs
- Liaise with drivers on the road over collection and delivery issues
- Record collection/delivery status and discrepancies in dotnet and escalate where appropriate
- Move freight between runs to ensure failed collections are minimised
- Allocate Collection and Delivery work to our Domestic Partners in accordance with their specific Service Level Agreements
- Liaise with the Nottingham / Dagenham Warehouses and International Operations when required
- Respond to operational and financial KPI's in order to drive efficiency in the Domestic Operation

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- Experience of working in a transport environment and dealing with drivers
- Agile - Can think on their feet.
- A good level of IT literacy.
- Driving Licence (desirable)
- Financial awareness
- Adaptable and able to think on your feet
- Ability to work under pressure
