Are you an enthusiastic highly motivated Health Visitor, seeking to improve the outcomes for children and families? We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Health Visiting Team
As a Health Visitor you will be part of a supportive, proactive team, working with our Local Authority, GP and Third Sector partners to deliver the Healthy Child Programme, plan and implement services for the benefit of the child. You will have regular robust clinical, management and Safeguarding supervision, access to a dynamic learning environment for CPD and monthly Reach meetings with peers. We also offer a preceptor programme for newly qualified so that you receive that crucial supportive arm when first embarking on your career
We have both part time and full time hours available (22.5 - 37.5 hours between Monday-Friday) across various locations across Dorset. We can be flexible for you as long as the service needs are met.
To plan, deliver and evaluate an efficient and cost effective Health Visiting
service for an identified population. To provide line management and
leadership within the Health Visiting Team and be proactive in delivering
the national and local public health agendas in response to identified
health and social need. To work in partnership with other agencies and
meet agreed standards, objectives and statutory requirements.
