We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Document Controller to join the Aberdeen team.

**This role offers £30,000 - £33,000 plus benefits including an early finish on a Friday**

**Position**:

- Collate Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental documentation ensuring client requirements and specifications are met
- Ensure correspondence with suppliers, customers and internal staff is recorded accurately
- Ensure welder qualification prolongations are passed to welding engineers in a timely manner
- Accountable for the delivery documentation packages to customers and internal staff in a timely manner
- Amend documentation packages as per customer’s reasonable requests
- Ensure all machinery, LOLER equipment and inspection tools are within calibration status.
- Ensure all documentation is logged correctly onto ASSEOP system
- To provide support to customers (where necessary) under the direction of QHSE Manager
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Comply with all company procedures and policies
- Encourage a safe working culture amongst all employees, promoting HSE awareness, accountability and responsibility
- Coordinate and facilitate compliance audits, risk assessments and COSHH assessments on a regular basis and follow through actions to timely closure;
- Manage specific reporting and record keeping requirements of HSE, Environmental Agency, etc., as well as other pertinent safety/regulatory compliance matters, to ensure all sites are in compliance
- Maintain and file all HSE documents within the QMS, as outlined in HSE Operational Procedures;
- Investigate all accidents, incidents, near misses and hazard reports making recommendations to prevent reoccurrence using Root Cause Analysis
- Observe and support the adherence of Clients Information Management Policy, Document Control Standards and Procedures
- Liaise with company personnel and third parties (where applicable)
- Provide feedback to support continuous improvement
- Maintaining technical files in line with company procedure
- Formal receipt, issue and control of company documents in line with company procedures
- Maintaining accurate document control records in line with company procedures
- Refinement of existing document control recording systems through discussions and agreement with line supervision
- Assisting with other general project, technical and document management support activities within capabilities, when requested to do so
- Manage and update document folder structure in the system
- Support, monitor and review Suppliers and Contractors Document Control
- Liaison with client document control departments ensuring their procedures are adhered to
