**MMB Multinational Advisory Consultant - London**

We are recruiting a Multinational Advisory Consultant to join our team, based in our London office.
- Mercer is looking for a talented professional with good working knowledge within multinational benefits who is keen to further their career within a market-leading organisation focusing on consulting with multinational clients.
- This is an opportunity to join a specialist team providing multinational clients with leading edge advice across Mercer's portfolio of clients to provide consulting services across the employee benefit spectrum (e.g. retirement, health, risk, perks, allowances, leaves and wellbeing), including: design, governance, implementation, wellbeing, ESG and DEI, strategy and financing.
- We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and project management skills, adaptability, business acumen and a desire to be in front of clients, all underpinned by the required foundational technical skills.

**We will count on you to**:

- Lead (smaller) client engagements, including managing overall service delivery and strategy.
- Work with senior consultants to support on larger client engagements.
- Develop strategies and drive solutions to address client issues as well as effectively communicating Mercer’s position on latest trends and legislation to clients.
- Work alongside senior consultants to deliver best in class advice and help to determine the full scope of services required by the client and set roles/responsibilities within the client team.
- Accountable for revenue/profitability for client accounts and projects owned.
- Manage (complex) cross border projects in line with client agreements and global processes (including success of projects in terms of scope, budget, timeliness and client satisfaction).
- Use appropriate Mercer tools in the development and execution of client strategy and deliverables.
- Sales: Generate sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and by leading or supporting prospecting efforts with new clients and lead/support in new business opportunities working with Global Client Managers and/or Commercial leads (as required).
- Delegate effectively to provide developmental opportunities to team members.
- Provide mentoring and coaching both to direct reports and project team members as well as reverse mentoring to senior consultants.
- Incorporate compliance and professional standards into all work processes, including transparency and peer review.
- Provide support on benefit related aspects of Mergers & Acquisitions - managing issues in multiple countries including design and advice through to project managing multi-country teams (from due diligence to post-deal implementation).
- Liaise regularly with colleagues across Mercer lines of business and geographies to deliver maximum value managing a multiple service delivery model.

**What you need to have**:

- 2:1 degree (or equivalent).
- Solid experience gained within rewards, HR, pension and/or employee benefits field and/or wider benefits consulting environment.
- Excellent communication, analytical, organisational, planning and interpersonal skills.
- Effective sales skills including strong capabilities for the on-boarding of new clients.
- Good analytical, strategic planning, communication, technical, listening and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple and complex tasks in a demanding work environment.
- Proven management skills in on-boarding, leading large, multi-disciplinary and complex projects across lines of business.
- Ability to manage, motivate, and mentor more junior level staff.
- Team player.
