**Job Title: Senior Business Control Specialist**

**Corporate Title: Vice President**

**Location: Bromley**

**Role Description**:
Drive internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB). Ensure capabilities are in place to drive the day-to-day execution of the Business risk Management.
Provides leadership and oversight in establishing effective controls within processes (Quality Assurance), perform reviews, and test the effectiveness of controls (monitoring and Quality Control). Engage with senior stakeholders to identify issues and/or control improvements for remediation. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture.
- Provides support to Process, Risk, and Control inventory (SPI), the underlying metric/control testing, and the reporting/escalation of the results.
- Establish effective controls within processes (Quality Assurance), perform reviews, and test/monitor the effectiveness of controls
- Monitor and report on the GPO operational Risk Profile and ensure stability of respective control processes
- Engage with stakeholders to identify issues and/or control improvements for remediation
- Lead integrates and drive change efforts across controls.
- Ensure compliance; identify and resolve control gaps/SIAIs
- Execute Business Controls deliverables

**The Team**:
Responsible for supporting Business Controls for the Global Payments Operations group in Global Operations. Sets priorities, and coordinates activities and deliverables. This requires close integration with Teams across all regions in which GPO has a presence as well as GCOR, and other enterprise partners.

**Core Skills**:

- Previous Risk and Controls experience to include handling multiple facets of an end-to-end business, e.g.: financial management, project management, governance, operations and technology management, communication and strategy initiatives
- Working knowledge of bank policies, programs, and procedures
- Understands the Risk and Compliance environment
- Relevant governance, risk, control, and finance experience
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities; Execution-oriented with ability to quickly organize work and execute with speed
- Detail-oriented, while still being able to see the big picture; quickly makes connections and thinks ‘enterprise’
- Organizationally savvy and strong influence skills; can work across organizational lines and regions to gain consensus and buy-in from senior stakeholders; leverages relationships to influence outcomes and drive decisions
- Ability to communicate across multiple lines of business to orchestrate cohesive risk & controls oversight and process management.
- Collaborative, execution driven and works through influence and engagement; ability to bring multiple stakeholders together, directly address issues to reach consensus & decisions
- Experience working with data or technology
