You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team on Isla Ward which is 14 Bedded Acute Male Ward.

As an experienced Registered Nurse from the NHS or private sector, you will lead, inspire and manage the teams on the wards to empower recovery.

With a team of junior and senior Nurses, Support Workers and a Ward Manager, you will design and deliver training and supervisions within a clinical environment using core skills in facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, teaching and delegation.

As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will work 37.5 hours per week and will be responsible for clinical and nursing audits and will ensure procedures are being adhered to as you support people to build a brighter future.

You will work 37.5 hours a week between the hours of 9:00 to 17:00.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring quality and management of nursing care, patient care and the clinical environment with 24 hour responsibility for staffing.
- Provide strong and robust leadership and management in the clinical environment
- Monitor the performance and conduct of staff and to take corrective action when necessary. This will include, where appropriate, involvement in the disciplinary process
- Promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors.
- Responsibility for working within the parameters of the service budget
- Ensuring the confidentiality, security and accuracy of data and information and compliance with Regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements.
- Maintain and evidence standards of competence as defined by the NMC, in order to remain registered.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- RMN/RNLD/ Qualification
- Experience working in a similar environment
- Experience as a Senior Nurse
- Relevant sufficient post-registration experience
