Warehouse Plant Assistant

Our client based in the Mitcham area are looking for a Warehouse Plant Operative to work with them. They are one of the world's largest supplier in their industry.

Role Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar chemical batch manufacturing environment would be advantageous
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction from others in a busy factory environment.
- Be flexible to work on a rota.
- Live within a commutable distance.

- Housekeeping and cleaning of the factory is a major part of the role.
- Manual handling
- Transporting and supporting heavy loads.
- Maintaining housekeeping within the plant.
- Filling of finished goods
- Loading reactors and blending tanks
- Loading/unloading of tankers
- The Plant Operator is responsible to support the shift leader for the safe, efficient and effective operation of plant equipment and processes.
- The Plant Operator will perform a variety of activities, including reactor loading, thinning/blend tank loading, set up of equipment for various plant tasks, filling/ packaging of products, assisting the shift leader in loading/unloading of finished goodstankers and housekeeping.
