**About the role**

We are looking for a Commissioning Editor to join our Learning Solutions team and to develop customised solutions for specific clients and markets. We are a tight-knit and forward-thinking team, who enjoy working collaboratively and sharing ideas. You will have the opportunity to hear feedback directly from customers, which can be extremely motivating.

Your responsibilities will include acting as editorial lead on print and digital components of multi-level, multi-component courses and product for key accounts and managing and coordinating in-house and external project teams.

Some key accountabilities will be:

- Manage the work of the in-house and freelance editorial team, authors/writers, and development houses or packagers, and ensure effective communication between all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and Propositions Excellence team to promote editorial best practice.
- Ensure regular and effective communication with all product stakeholders through all stages of the development and production lifecycle.

**About you**

You are a true collaborator, embracing opportunities for learning and seeking to empower others. You will have experience of teaching English as a foreign language and must show a sound understanding of what makes good classroom material.

You will contribute to this role with your excellent organisational skills and a proven track record of delivering market-focused products on time and to budget.

To be successful you will demonstrate:

- Having spent a considerable period in an ELT publishing environment with experience of editorial project management.
- Experience of both print and digital development.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team as well as a high degree of self-reliance.
- Some strategic and commercial awareness.
