**What will you be doing?**

You will lead a team of 8 - 10 experienced User Researchers in the Service Design & User Research function. The team perform a mix of qualitative and quantitative user research, working collaboratively with Service Designers, Digital Platform Owners, Proposition Managers, Customer Insight and UX teams.

As the Chapter Lead, you will be expected to drive high levels of engagement and performance across the team. You’ll need to embrace the mindset of continuous improvement and adaptability as we progress on our journey to create and embed valuable insight into the launch of all new products and propositions into the Business and Consumer markets.

The User Research Chapter is a crucial part of the Experience and Design pillar in the Digital department of Vodafone UK, and as such is an exciting and dynamic place to work.

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be leading a team of high performing individuals, accountable for both their research output, and the coaching and development of those individuals. You’ll be responsible for identifying new trends, techniques and tools in User Research and bringing those relevant into our ways of working to compliment the culture of continuous improvement.

You'll ensure that the team of researchers are allocated to the highest impact research topics, aligned with the organisation’s roadmap and strategy. As such you’ll have a strong awareness of that roadmap and prioritisation within the organisation and take on responsibility for demand and capacity management of the chapter.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Leadership/line management experience
- Detailed knowledge of User Research techniques and methodologies, particularly in large scale, technology organisations
- Experience in coaching and leading User Research professionals
- Experience in implementing and evolving processes and ways of working
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Strategic/long-term planning
