**Temporary Customer Service Adviser - Welfare Support**
**Reference no: Shropshire RQ752631**
**Pay rate: £10.60 per hour PAYE**
- Taking calls from and regarding Ukrainian guests.
- Taking calls from the Welfare Support Team general enquiries line.
- Extracting information and providing correct information to customers.
- Signposting customers to support from specialist advisers.
- Signposting customers to wider support from a variety of services and organisations.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths (C and above).

**Skills & Experience**:

- Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a service orientated environment, with a telephone or contact centre component in a similar role or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
- A professional telephone manner with strong but sensitive handling skills.
- Must be at ease talking with customers, and confident when required.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience of using different IT/telephony systems.
- Good problem solving skills and ability to use initiative.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills using Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
