**Job Title**: Part-Time Lab Hosts

**Contract Type**: Part-Time (8,15 or 20 hours per week minimum)

Cambridge Distillery was established to set a new international benchmark of quality in gin; a goal which it has achieved. Alongside our catalogue of award-winning off-the-shelf gins, our unique distillation methods have led to Cambridge Distillery being awarded three consecutive times as the most innovative distillery in the world.

**The Role**

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic hosts to join our friendly team at the Cambridge Gin Laboratory in central Cambridge, to work approximately three shifts per week including evenings and weekends. We can offer either fixed hours of 8,15 or 20 per week or, if preferred, we can offer the flexibility of a zero-hour contract.

In this varied role you will be hosting private events and delivering educational masterclasses, driving sales in the shop, providing product recommendations for some of the World’s most innovative spirits, processing customer sales, including gift vouchers and bottle sales.

In addition, our Lab Hosts are responsible for maintaining high visual merchandising standards, regular cleaning to ensure housekeeping standards are consistently met in-line with COVID-19 workplace safety requirements, stock-takes, replenishment and maintaining stock systems.

**The Person**

You will be a natural host who is confident at public speaking, with the ability to enthusiastically engage with customers. Successful applicants will have front of house and/ or bar experience, as well as a passion for high quality spirits, and the desire to deliver an outstanding experience to all visitors to the Lab.

We are offering between £9.50 and £10.28 per hour, 28 days annual leave (pro-rata) and staff discount (after qualifying period)

Applicants must be over 18 years old with the right to live and work in the UK. Proof of eligibility will be required at interview stage.
