We are looking for a Team Leader for the Single Point of Access (SPA) team within our nationally recognised, high-performing, and innovative NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression service. This role would suit a health professional from one of a range of different backgrounds, who is interested in helping us provide a high-quality service for adults with common mental health disorders. If you have experience in providing complex mental health assessments and interventions and the ability and enthusiasm to lead and manage our dedicated SPA team, this could be the role for you

You will provide all aspects of leadership, management and supervision for the SPA team. This includes organisation and delivery of their clinical activity to ensure we are running an effective, responsive and safe service for our patients. Staff wellbeing is a top priority for us, so developing staff as well as ensuring they have the best possible support will need to be important for you too. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will play a role in the overall clinical and operational delivery of the wider Talking Therapies service. This post will be based alongside the SPA team in our central High Wycombe base. We also have a team base in Aylesbury and other satellites and clinic spaces around the county.

The Bucks Talking Therapies service is a large, diverse and vibrant service comprising high and low intensity therapists (including trainees), operational & admin staff, employment advisors and peer support workers. We have an award winning and very active staff wellbeing team within the service, and run in-house forums covering equality and diversity as well as forums to support and connect our line managers.

We offer a hybrid pattern of home/office/clinic working. A minimum of 2 days per week working from an office/clinic would normally be expected, though this can be worked flexibly over a longer rolling period. We do not currently offer completely remote working patterns.
