A fast-growing manufacturing business located in the Pontefract area with an excellent office culture, is looking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their expanding finance team. The role is an integral part of the finance team, responsible for the processing of purchase invoices, alongside maintenance of the purchase ledgers within the business. Additional support to the sales ledger function is also expected within the role.

We are looking for self-starters who will welcome the excitement of joining this developing and expanding organisation. You will have proven purchase ledger experience, possess strong IT skills with Microsoft Office, have strong communication skills and be a good team player who is good at developing relationships and have a strong attention to detail.

**Key duties and responsibilities include**:

- Supporting the Finance Manager in administering the purchase ledger function within the business.
- Accurate processing of purchase and sales ledger invoices in line with company procedures.
- Management and processing of employee expenses and mileage claims.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements on a timely basis with prompt query resolution.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure processes are completed on time and in full.
- Develop relationships with key suppliers to ensure queries are resolved promptly.

On offer is a competitive salary with 25 days holidays per annum working 36.5 hours per week.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
