Gluing Operator

Role: Gluing Operator - Moll

**Salary**: £27K-£30K + overtime opportunities

Location: Newcastle

My client are a leading print and packaging business based in the North East who are looking to bring in an experience Moll operator to their growing team.

**Job duties**:

- Operate, set up, and maintain folding and gluing machines necessary for producing products in accordance with customer specifications.
- Install the appropriate tools, blades, and folding devices to achieve the necessary folding and pre-breaking for the Product.
- Determine the proper positioning of the glue system(s) to ensure the correct final setup and functionality.
- Adjust controls to regulate the placement and timing of electronic glue systems.
- Continuously monitor the quality of production, while also ensuring that packers are performing their tasks as required.
- Consistently meet production schedule plan and attainment goals.
- Read work orders and production schedules to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Start and shut down machines, monitoring operations and restocking materials as needed.
- Always maintain cleanliness of equipment and the assigned production area.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while working.
- Maintain constant visual oversight of parts produced and conduct visual quality control audits.
- Identify and report product malfunctions to the appropriate individuals.
- Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Effectively communicate with supervisors, managers, and other colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per hour
