Gluing Operator

We currently are looking for a Gluing
Operator to be
responsible for the make ready and operation of G14, ensuring that finished
cartons are produced to a high standard and within allocated timescales.

**Key Accountabilities include**:
Overseeing all elements of shift performance (safety, quality, output, waste).
To ensure efficient running of G14, striving to achieve planned targets.
Line make-readies as required.Line adjustments, working within parameters of carton and machine specifications.
Ensure all quality checks are carried out and recorded appropriately.
Handling and control of glues.
Line training - Assistants and cross-train fellow Operators.
Ensure best use of Assistant labour recoveries and materials in accordance with the production plan.
Facilitate and where appropriate conduct training for employees on machine to ensure company and legal standards are met (e.g. quality standards, housekeeping 5S, H&S).
Utilising support services as appropriate to ensure technical and quality standards are maintained.

**Knowledge, skills and experience include**:
Trained/or currently training as a Gluing Operator
Quality Conscious
Ability to work under pressure to meet customer deadlines
Ability to take ownership for own/team problem solving and decision making to achieve desired result
Ability to liaise with internal/external supports as required
