You will be part of a small, **Non-targeted** team and will need to be a car owner/driver (mileage allowance of 45p per business mile paid). **Full-time** hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and one Saturday in three 9am to 1pm. **Part-time** hours are 1pm to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and every Saturday 9am to 1pm. The **Salary** will reflect your experience and ability and there is opportunity for future progression to more senior roles within the business, for the right individual.

Previous Estate Agency experience would be most useful but not essential, as long as you have a can-do attitude, smart appearance, outgoing personality and are genuinely interested in helping people with their house sale/purchase.

**Key Activities**
- Arranging and conducting viewings
- Obtaining feedback and initial offers
- Anti-money laundering checks
- Regular client contact
- Booking valuation and market appraisal appointments
- Sales progression and liaising with surveyors, solicitors and other professional contacts
- Administration including setting up new files and creating brochures, advertisement copy and typing general correspondence through our estate agency software package
- Updating the website/property portals and the office window displays
- Identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships

**About Us**

Howard Douglas have been based in Ashburton for 25 years and cover a mostly rural area encompassing a varied and interesting range of property from flats to farmhouses. The sales team consists of four, including managing partner Howard J. Douglas, and we have a separate, busy lettings department to complement the sales side of the business.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
