About the role
West Northamptonshire Public Health is looking to recruit a Public Health Principal to provide strategic leadership in improving the health and wellbeing of children, young people and families in the area.

What will you be doing?
The post holder will work with senior managers, elected members, strategic and policy leads in the Council, NHS, communities and other statutory, voluntary and community organisations to improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people and reduce health inequalities.

About you
You will have extensive experience of leading, developing and managing a range of children and young people programmes services, as well as staff and budget management. It is expected that you will have a Master’s in Public Health or relevant post-graduate qualification and you will have or be working towards Specialist Public Health registration.
