Our team in Bournemouth are recruiting for an experienced Counsellor, to join them in providing high quality recovery care and support to a diverse service user group. If you are passionate about changing people’s lives for the better, we’d love to hear from you.

This role will provide counselling and support to a nominated caseload of individuals currently within We Are With You and will provide a safe, confidential and encouraging therapeutic environment. You will use your skills and experience to support people to explore feelings and emotions and facilitate reflection, whilst working to improve access to appropriate services for service users with substance misuse issues. As well as this, you will:

- Assist in the delivery of an integrated service through the provision of recovery planning, appropriate referral, support, care coordination and psychosocial interventions
- Develop and disseminate information and give advice on psychological wellbeing in both group and one to one settings
- Work with colleagues in the Quality and Clinical Governance and the Knowledge Management teams to ensure that best practice is shared and knowledge and management information is available
- Develop and build strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders to ensure continuity of service.

You will be a compassionate and motivated Counsellor, with a minimum diploma level qualification in counselling. You should have the ability to connect quickly with the people we support, treating them respectfully and with dignity. We are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do, with a positive and engaging approach to our service users and staff.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:
You must hold BACP accreditation/UKCP registration or equivalent, or have evidence of actively working towards BACP accreditation or UKCP registration.
