**Credit Manager - Chelmsford OR EC1- Excellent Remuneration**

**Fixed Term Contract (Minimum 12 Months) - IMMEDIATE START**

**Hybrid working - Chelmsford OR London (EC1)**

Butler Rose is excited to be collaborating with a globally recognised Legal firm in recruiting an ambitious Credit Manager to improve cashflow over the next 15 months.

Industry experience is secondary to a successful track record in parachuting into organisations to lead large credit teams and support the global operation throughout a period of finance transformation. You'll need to quickly adopt company process / procedureswhilst looking for opportunities to improve productivity, control, and cashflow.

**Primary accountability includes but is not limited to**:

- Reduce age debt levels and improve cash collections
- Embed and develop revised processes used across both the UK and the overseas Credit Control teams to establish global processes and consistent working practices
- Develop ways of working that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of collections
- Quickly develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders across Finance and fee earners and partners to improve collections and reduce debtor days
- Increase the teams visibility and contact with the fee earners and partners in the Firm

**Experience you need to bring**:

- Demonstrable success in leading and developing highly performing credit control functions delivering improvements in collections performance (professional services desirable but not essential).
- Experience of leading teams through significant change and transformation
- Demonstrates ability to identify creative solutions to problems
- Good level of reporting and data analysis skills
