**THIS IS AN APPRENTICESHIP POSITION AND THE SALARY IS £9412**

The Office Assistant is to assist the admin team to ensure the smooth operation of the firm. Tasks will include but are not limited to:

- Assisting with the distribution of the post around the firm
- Photocopying and operating internal mail distribution system
- Arrange all post for transmission by the firm
- Provide hand delivery service to local organisations, take outgoing mail to the post office (at some offices this is shared with other staff)
- Cover on reception and switchboard as necessary
- Deal with all shredding
- Stock taking and ordering of stock of stationery and kitchen products
- Filing as required
- Small typing tasks
- Local office purchases
- Preparing coffee/tea for meetings

- A high level of confidentiality
- Organisational and communication skills
- GCSE standard grade C/5 in Maths and English

- Be reliable and diligent, with good attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills
- A positive approach to working under pressure in a busy environment
- Able to follow instructions
- A ‘can do’ attitude

**Other information**:
This is an apprenticeship position based in our Grimsby Office. The hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch to be taken between 12noon and 2.00pm. You will also be required to do the equivalent of one day off job training.
