**Role - Bookkeeper**

**Nationwide Fencing Services** are a large national Perimeter Security Total Solutions Provider. We are experts in our field of manufacturing, supplying & installing security fencing systems throughout the UK

**Description**:
Working across two of our businesses, all with a multi-million-pound turnover, we are a growing and fast-paced company delivering exceptional products/services to our clients. As our newly appointed Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in our finance department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and contributing to our overall success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain complete and accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Full Sales & Purchase ledger responsibility
- Prepare financial statements, Profit & Loss reports Etc,
- Collaborate with both the Company Manager and Company Accountant to assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist with payroll processing staff wages
- Manage and reconcile petty cash and employee expense reimbursements
- Support the preparation of year-end financial documents

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Degree or diploma of higher education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience), preferably AAT or relevant Qualification
- Sage 50 experience is key for this role
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations
- Proficient in using Sage 50, MS programs, Excel/Word Etc.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.

- Capable of managing/supporting a team effectively in a fast-paced office
- Flexible & adaptable to a fast passed environment

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Ability to commute or relocate

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 2 years minimum
- Sage 50: 2 years minimum

Essential
- Degree or diploma of higher education in accounting and/or similar finance qualifications a must
- Experience in project costing accounting and financial reporting

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
