Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll and Bookkeeping Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing payrolls, managing pension schemes, and performing bookkeeping tasks for clients using various software platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls, calculating tax, national insurance contributions, and statutory payments.
  • Provide clients with payslips, PAYE & NIC reports, and pension contribution details.
  • Manage pension schemes, including Auto Enrolment registrations and obligations.
  • Submit payroll information to HMRC and pension schemes.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including raising and processing invoices, completing bank reconciliations, and matching payments and receipts.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with payroll experience who wants to expand into a wider range of bookkeeping tasks. You'll gain hands-on experience across different accounting platforms while continuing to provide critical payroll support to clients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Exposure within payroll bureau; experience in bookkeeping would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Xero, Sage, QuickBooks.
