Your next role

At Swindon Borough Council, we work together with multi-agency Partners (e.g. police, health, fire service) to focus on how we best support our communities.

Our new joint partnership way of working is designed to offer us the chance to work more effectively together and with a joint purpose to protect children, adults, families and communities who most need our help and to help people to themselves.

The joint partnership is seeking a dynamic, highly organised and clear-thinking individual to support the administration and co-ordination of regular Multi-Agency meetings.

As Partnership Community Safety Co-ordinator you will:

- Be responsible for co-ordinating multi-agency meetings
- Provide administrative support for multi-agency meetings which will include taking minutes, distributing reports, dealing with enquiries and signposting on when appropriate as well as maintaining databases

The skills, knowledge and expertise we are looking for include:

- A good standard in written and oral communication skills
- Good IT and organisational skills
- Wide experience and knowledge of administrative systems

Although you will work for the joint Safeguarding and Community Safety Partnership, you will be an employee of Swindon Borough Council and as such you will have access to a pension scheme and other employee support services.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
