**Operational Services Advisor**
£32,000 - £35,000 plus excellent benefits, including up to 10% employer pension contributions and an annual incentive scheme (Work Level 6A)
Field-based, with travel to London and surrounding areas as required

**Please Note**:Due to the nature of the role, you’ll be working an on-call rota with colleagues in order to ensure cover across a variety of time zones.

We’re looking for an operational services advisor to join us at Co-op, working as part of the repatriation team within our wider Co-op Funeralcare and Life Planning function. In this role, we’ll look to you to coordinate and supervise repatriation arrangements for those who have died abroad or in the UK.

As an operational services advisor, you’ll be key to the operational team’s understanding of repatriation. You’ll coach and support our client-facing teams to help them meet the individual needs of our clients, making sure our end-to-end repatriation process is as fast, effective, and transparent as it can be. **What you’ll do**
- coordinate and supervise repatriation arrangements for those who have died abroad or in the UK
- manage client and colleague queries, working to resolve any issues as quickly and effectively as possible
- coach and mentor colleagues, ensuring they have the knowledge they need to deliver complex repatriation arrangements
- build strong relationships with colleagues across Funeralcare to understand current ways of working, and opportunities for improvement
- work closely with external partners, developing and maintaining an understanding of their services
- providing the business with weekly repatriation performance updates
- liaise with government and foreign officials to fulfil repatriation requirements, as required

**This role would suit people who have**
- strong levels of experience working within funeral planning, and a detailed understanding of funeral and repatriation operational processes, procedures, and principles
- a desire to deliver high levels of customer service to our clients, and the ability to act with care, discretion, and empathy
- the ability to act promptly and effectively within a fast-paced environment
- strong time management skills, and a high attention to detail
- excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to forge meaningful relationships with senior internal and external partners
