The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Principal Data Consultant who can lead our clients through their journey of using data, analytics and AI to best serve their customers, users and decision makers.

At Principal level, we are looking for extensive experience that demonstrates your ability to lead both client-side and internal teams, spanning a variety of business and technical roles, towards successful outcomes. You will be familiar with working with people across a range of data-related disciplines, including data science, engineering, architecture, governance etc. Client-side, you will be experienced with working with a variety of key stakeholders. Your experience spans all phases and maturities of data problems, including aspects of data acquisition and ingestion, varying degrees of analytical complexity, and serving outcomes to users and decision makers.

Your role includes:

- Shaping data-driven consultancy and implementation projects, bringing ideas to life, generating investment opportunities, and delivering business value.
- You’ll keep product and customer focus, and you get things done.
- You shape our data and AI-related offerings and support the positioning of our portfolio in the market.
- You contribute to grow data-related competencies at Zuhlke, on a conceptual level and by developing talent.
- You work collaboratively with colleagues and clients, be it onsite, in the Zuhlke office, or from home.
- You sometimes travel to other locations in the UK and mainland Europe.

We would love to hear from you if you have ANY of the following:

- Have rich experience in leading data intensive, data-driven initiatives in a consulting capacity.
- Have a strong business sense and are flexible regarding different industries and companies, from start-ups to multinationals.
- You have a good technical understanding and experience in software development contexts.
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, on an executive level and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- You can lead teams, inspire collaboration and manage stakeholders.
- You are resilient, empathetic and proactive. Your working style is self-organised and customer-oriented, from the initial idea to its successful implementation.
- Fluency and a high degree of literacy in English is paramount. Working knowledge of German is an advantage, but not required.
