Rail Compliance Co-ordinator

We are looking for a competent and motivated administrator to assist with the management of the rail compliance and company standards, processes and procedures, this includes administration of training, work equipment and internal communication records.

To deliver role of Compliance Manager,Maintain company accreditations including RISQS, FORS, UVDB, Safecontractor, Constructionline and CHAS

To deliver role of Rail Infrastructure Sentinel Coordinator including administration of Network Rail Sentinel Database and related tasks.
- Maintain company records in accordance with Rail business requirements
- Sentinel Administration, including issuing of Sentinel Contracts of Sponsorship, Sentinel Cards, Sub-Sponsor Agreements, De-sponsorship etc.
- New Starter Sentinel Checks for ‘Previous Transgression”
- Providing induction briefing including the Sentinel Scheme Rules
- Coordinating alcohol and drugs screening - pre-appointment/sponsorship, annual unannounced random, periodic, for cause, post-incident.
- Coordinating rail medical tests and renewals, Administration of rail training and assessment
- Circulation of Network Rail Safety Bulletins, Rule Book updates etc
- Administration of Track Visitor Permits (TVP)
- Administration of Personal Protective Equipment
- Administration of PTS Handbooks and other documentation for site.
- Administer Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) Schedule for owned equipment and safety critical equipment
- Coordination of advice, guidance or instruction on any restrictions based on medication and other medical fitness issues
- Administering mentoring support to develop individual workers competencies
- Ensuring that the management of working hour’s process complies with rail infrastructure rules.
- Enacting the Local Investigation process where any suspected breach of the Sentinel Scheme Rules becomes apparent.
- Co-hosting the RISQS audit with the assistance of the HSQE Advisor.
- Hosting the RISQS, UVDB and FORS Audit
- Maintain company accreditations including RISQS, FORS, UVDB, Safecontractor, Constructionline and CHAS
- Update annual documents to maintain compliance with client requirements
- Ensure clear and concise records relating to SHEQ and projects are maintained
- Production, maintenance and communication of company master documents.

Skills/experience
- Excellent record keeping and control
- Accuracy and Due Diligence
- Time keeping and meeting deadline
- Previous administration experience
- Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook - Intermediate
- Good experience and knowledge of risk assessments, audits and action plans preparation for industry audits
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
- Relevant construction health and safety experience ideally within the rail sector, construction industries or similar multiple site industries experience
- Up to date with current legislation and have good computer skills
- Confident in delivery, presentation and dealing with all levels due to the nature of a customer facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Training/Qualifications
- Rail Industry Sentinel Database Administrator
- IOSH Managing Safely (Desirable)
- RISQS Administrator
