This is not just any job this is a M&S franchise range planner job M&S have an exciting opportunity to ensure the right products are ranged to the right stores - matching our customers buying patterns, testing new products and market and evaluating the incremental benefit. In this role you will provide a commercial, customer and supply perspective to ranging ensuring customer needs are met and supporting display and customer ease of shop. You are able to deliver ranges that makes product areas easy for customers to shop, drive volume sales, margin and support efficient replenishment.

We have a hybrid approach working 3 days in the office - talk to us about part time or job share opportunities in this role, if its meaningful to you, its important to us.

**What youll** **do**
Your key accountabilities will include
- Analyse multiple sources of commercial data (financial, customer, competition and market) to help inform and implement ranging improvements including identifying store, product and cluster patterns to make focussed recommendations i.e. cluster improvements.
- Work with Display Operations to finalise, implement and communicate range changes with commercial units, supply chain, trade planning and international functions
- Achieve range targets, ensuring we optimise for: Customer need states met, ease of shop, operations, supply, waste and product margins
- Play a critical role in joining up the end to end ranging strategy with Buyers and NPD. Conducting full range reviews in season, as well as, for events. Providing the context, direction and criteria of success at a store, planogram, cluster and estate leve

**Who you are**
Your skills and experience will include
- Excellent project management
- Excellent analysis, interpretation and problem-solving skill
- Good presentation skills and partner management
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- Knowledge of the Space Range, Display, New Product Development, Supply Chain and Procurement processes and critical paths
