Vehicle Rental & Garage Administrator

We are looking for a versatile and energetic individual which can handle the daily tasks of a small rental branch and garage in Halstead

Duties will include:

- Taking bookings by phone and handling web bookings for customers rental needs
- Process license checks and hirer validation
- Dealing with hirers face to face and taking the booking from start to finish.
- Vehicle hand overs and returns
- Dealing with vehicle maintenance arrangements
- Checking vehicles cleanliness and oversee the vehicle cleaners
- Dealing with vehicle damage and processing charges
- Need to communicate with our other branches and any bookings you take for them.
- Taking bookings for tyre fittings/MOTs & general repairs for the garage
- Ordering tyres & processing returns
- Invoicing and taking payments by card and cash

You must be able to communicate with customers and use the hire system to book and process your rentals and the days transactions.

You will be responsible for the vehicle security at the end of day and make sure they are all secure.

You need to be able to work under pressure at peak times and manage your time during the quiet times.

Your hours will be Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30 and every other Saturday 8am to 12:30

This position is based in Halstead, Essex.

You must hold a drivers license

Full Training will be provided on site

Initial interviews will be via Teams then shortlisted applicants will have a second interview in person.

Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
