**Who are we looking for? **We are seeking a **Production Baker (Night shift)** to join our team.

As a Cookie Production Baker, your primary goal is to contribute to the efficient and effective production of high-quality cookies. You will be responsible for executing baking processes with precision, ensuring consistency in product quality, and adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with team members to meet production targets and uphold the reputation of our brand through the creation of delicious and visually appealing cookies.

**PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)**:

- Prepare and measure ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
- Operate baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and cookie forming machines.
- Monitor baking process, adjusting temperatures and timings as necessary to achieve desired results.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products to maintain consistency and excellence.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production quotas and deadlines.
- Assist in inventory management by reporting stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and efficiency.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize baking output.
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns or hazards immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of baking activities, including volumes, downtime, and quality inspections.
- Prepare reports on baking performance, efficiency, and quality metrics for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure smooth operation of the baking line.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to address issues and drive performance improvements.

**KEY SELECTION CRITERIA**:

- Baking Skills: Demonstrated experience and proficiency in baking techniques, including measuring, mixing, and baking various types of cookies.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately, ensuring consistency in product quality and appearance.
- Food Safety Knowledge: Understanding of food safety principles and practices, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.
- Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production demands and priorities.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality, with a dependable work ethic and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and address issues or challenges in the baking process, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Passion for Baking: Enthusiasm for the art of baking and a genuine interest in creating delicious and high-quality cookies.

**OTHER INFORMATION**

Although this position is mainly worked between Monday to Friday, evening and weekend work may be required.

Working hours: 7pm-7am (4 days a week, 3 days off)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week
