**About the Role**
**To assist in all aspects of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the Park as defined by the Technical Services department.

**Key Objectives**:
**To carry out maintenance activities under supervision to the highest possible quality levels ensuring the agreed standards are met under the supervision from the Technical Services engineers.

**Main Responsibilities**:
**1.** **Operational**
- Ensure that all work carried out is of high quality and meets the required legislative levels.
- Assist in all aspects of maintenance to ensure high standards of product availability, operational presentation and customer satisfaction.
- Considers other departments requirements and provides guidance and support as appropriate.
- Ensure worksheets are completed detailing exact nature of work carried out under supervision.
- To be an exemplary Operator of associated machinery
**2.** **Marketing**
- To develop and maintain an appropriate knowledge of business operation and activities.
**3.** **Financial**
**- Assist with methods of working differently in order to maximise resources on site.
- Assist in providing long term solutions for replacement of obsolete equipment by staying abreast of modern developments within the industry.
**4.** **Development**
- Pro-actively seeks and takes appropriate opportunities to improve own skills and knowledge to contribute to own development.
**5.** **People**
- Actively demonstrates commitment to the Merlin Group vision and values.
- Acts as a role model within the business in terms of dress and appearance and customer service.
- Demonstrates a commitment to promoting effective working relationships within the team, other departments and with external customers.
- Communicates to other team members, guests and other areas of the business including the experience team with positive energy.
- Pro-actively supports other areas of the Technical Services department.
- Share knowledge, experience and skills with others.
- Shows excellent communication skills whilst ebbing an exemplary team player.
- Attends team briefings actively contributing to any discussions.
**6.** **Health & Safety**
**Employees are responsible for the safety of themselves, their colleagues and guests (where appropriate), in line with the Group Policy (HS001) and the law. In particular, they must ensure that they follow safe working procedures for all work activities that they undertake and they must not use any tools or equipment for which they have not been trained. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are reported to their line manager and must cooperate with any investigation as appropriate.
