We have a fantastic opportunity for an **Electronics / Hardware Engineer** to join the Engineering Team at Stannah.

As an Electronics / Hardware you will be responsible for designing, delivering and maintaining electronic hardware solutions for safety critical consumer products.

We are looking for an Electronics / Hardware who is experienced in design and development of electrical / electronic systems. Preferably with experience of microcontrollers, safety critical elements, motor control, comms protocols (RF/infrared/board level),user display and sensor technology.

To be successful in the role you will have proven knowledge of analogue and digital electronics design principles for motor drive and control solutions. You will have knowledge of DC electrical wiring systems and understanding of the V-model developmentprocess.

We are looking for an Electronics / Hardware who is competent in the use of 2D CAD packages for production of technical diagrams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop hardware documentation, maintaining traceability through to implementation ensuring all stakeholder requirements are met
- Verify designs against requirements by means of practical laboratory test and in support of the Test and Development team
- Support the DFMEA process, from system to component level, to analyse and validate adherence to the design requirements
- Produce technical documentation to support contract manufacturing, production, installation and service
- Assist in the assessment of the safety of product designs using Product Safety Hazard Analysis process
- Assist with peer reviewing of engineering documentation

**Minimum Requirements / Qualifications**
- Degree qualified in electrical/electronic engineering
