**Lifestyle Support Worker**

Headway Birmingham & Solihull is a Brain Injury Charity. Our Lifestyle Services Team provide support, services and guidance for people with an Acquired Brain Injury enabling them to improve their independence at home and in the community leading to an improved quality of life.

**Our pay scale starts at the National Living Wage of £10.90ph, includes six levels of pay up to £12.00ph (for qualified and experienced Support Workers) and we have hours to suit your lifestyle.**

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, friendly, positive, caring, self-motivated individuals who have the drive, personality and reliability to make a real difference to our clients’ lives.

Your role will involve supporting clients to attend appointments, social activities, shopping in the community using your car to transport them and assist with day to day living skills in their homes. Some personal care may be required.

- Comprehensive induction and on-going training to include the Care Certificate to assist with your development in the role of Lifestyle Support Worker.
**Brain Injury Certificates - Level 1 & 2** - Free specialist training in brain injury
**Professional Development **- We can support you to obtain a range of qualifications according to roles and support further development
**Staff Referral Scheme** - Receive £50 for referring a friend into a Support Worker position after 3 months and another 50 after 12 months

**Applicants will need to be a Car Driver / Owner **and have experience of working with disabilities, have, or be willing to gain an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care. Experience of working with brain injury desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Bank

Part-time hours: 14 - 35 per week

**Salary**: £10.90-£12.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday, 9am - 6:30pm
- Saturdays (depending on client requirements)

Shift:
