MacGregor Black are partnering with a **Beverage Manufacturer **on the search for a **Head Brewer. **This is a **perm **role based in **South West Wiltshire.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage day-to-day brewery operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Oversee all aspects of the brewing process, from selecting and sourcing ingredients to ensuring consistency in every batch.
- Lead and mentor the brewing team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.
- Create and refine innovative beer recipes that reflect our brewery's identity and resonate with a diverse audience of beer enthusiasts.
- Work closely with other departments, including marketing and sales, to align brewing strategies with overall business goals. This includes collaboration with the attached distilling operation to produce base for distillation.

**What are we looking for?**
- A minimum of 5 years of professional brewing experience, with a proven track record of producing high-quality beers.
- A deep passion for brewing and an appreciation for both traditional methods and modern techniques.
- Experience leading a brewing team, guiding their growth, and fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Ability to develop unique and appealing beer recipes that stand out in a competitive market.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective team collaboration and external representation.
- Relevant brewing certifications or qualifications are a plus.

Salary - Up to £40k (Dependant on experience)
